What are the requirements for precision parts processing?

In my country's mechanical processing industry, for precision parts, the processing requirements are relatively strict, and the processing process includes entry and exit; the size of the parts has specific requirements, and the accuracy, such as how many microns are needed for 1mm, if the size difference is too large, it may become waste, need to be reprocessed, waste time and cost.

The processing of precision parts is mainly dimensional requirements, such as cylinder diameter, there are strict requirements, positive and negative errors within the specified requirements are qualified parts, otherwise they are unqualified parts; there are also specific and strict requirements for length, width and height, as well as positive and negative errors. The allowable range of error will lead to insertion. If the actual diameter is too small and exceeds the allowable negative lower limit of the error, the insertion will be too loose and not firm.

The machining of precision parts must be carried out strictly according to the additional drawings. The actual size after processing will not be the same as the theoretical size of the drawing, but the processed size is within the allowable tolerance range for qualified parts. Therefore, the requirement of precision parts processing is to process in strict accordance with the theoretical size.

The second is advanced precision parts processing equipment and testing equipment. Advanced processing equipment makes the processing of precision parts simpler, more precise and better. Inspection equipment detects parts that do not meet requirements.

Why does the machining accuracy of precision parts deteriorate?

In our industry, no matter what part is machined, there will be requirements for machining accuracy. In the post-testing process, it is found that the machining accuracy of precision parts is poor, and the processed parts are likely to become substandard products. So, why is the machining accuracy of precision parts poor?

1. The machining accuracy of the part itself is poor. Generally speaking, if the dynamic error between the shafts is not adjusted during installation, or the wear of the shaft drive chain will affect the accuracy of the part.

2. The overshoot of the machine tool will also affect the machining accuracy, which may be because the acceleration and deceleration time is too short, and the change time is appropriately extended. Of course, the link between the lead screw and the servo motor is likely to come loose.

3. The roundness caused by the linkage of the two axes is out of tolerance, the axial deformation of the circle is formed by the mechanical unadjustment, the compensation of the axis gap is wrong or the axis positioning deviation may affect the accuracy of the precision parts.

Which part is suitable for precision machining.

In our parts processing industry, we may all know that precision machining requires relatively high precision. The main features of precision machining are high manufacturing precision and high tool precision, which can process some high-precision parts. So what kind of parts are suitable for precision machining? It will be explained to you next.

1. Compared with ordinary lathes, CNC lathes have a constant speed cutting function, and the end faces and outer circles of different diameters can be processed at the same line speed, that is, the surface roughness value is consistent and relatively small. Ordinary lathes have a constant speed, different diameters, and different cutting speeds. When the material of the workpiece and the tool, the finishing allowance and the tool angle are constant, the surface roughness depends on the cutting speed and the feed rate.

2. When machining surfaces with different surface roughness, the surface with small roughness selects low feed speed, and the surface with large roughness selects high feed speed and good variability. It's hard to do this with a normal lathe. Parts with complex contour shapes can approach any planar curve with straight lines or arcs. CNC precision machining has arc interpolation function, which can process various parts with complex contours.
